High-temperature sealing
FKM is often evaluated for high-temperature static and dynamic seals where the service profile exceeds the normal operating range of general-purpose elastomers.
A technical reference for Hamta Polymer FKM compounds, commonly referred to as Viton, from 50 to 90 Shore A. This material family is assessed where elevated temperature and demanding fluid exposure are central to the design. Final selection requires review of the exact medium, temperature, pressure and service cycle.

FKM is often evaluated for high-temperature static and dynamic seals where the service profile exceeds the normal operating range of general-purpose elastomers.
Oil, fuel and chemical resistance depend on the FKM type and the exact medium. Compatibility must be assessed by concentration, temperature and exposure cycle.
Specific gravity, low-temperature flexibility, compression set and process conditions should be reviewed together with the finished-part geometry.

This is an orientation aid, not a final compatibility approval. Confirm the specific medium, concentration, temperature and exposure cycle with the technical team.
Values are typical laboratory guidance for the stated methods. Finished-part results can vary with formulation, cure, geometry and production conditions.
FKM is a material-family designation. The trade name Viton is retained as a familiar shared market term but does not replace a compound-specific technical review.
Compression set values shown at 200 C are not a universal seal-life prediction. Validate the actual sealing load, thermal cycle and medium.
For temperatures above the stated range or exceptionally aggressive media, consult the technical team about the required elastomer family and compound formulation.
These product families can be explored from the English product hub. Suitability is determined by the final application, not by the material code alone.
