Balanced industrial performance
CR is considered where tear resistance, weathering performance and moderate fluid resistance must be balanced in one material family.
A technical reference for Hamta Polymer CR compounds, also known as neoprene, from 40 to 90 Shore A. CR is commonly assessed when a balanced combination of weathering, ozone, tear resistance and inherent flame behaviour is important. Final material approval remains application-specific.

CR is considered where tear resistance, weathering performance and moderate fluid resistance must be balanced in one material family.
Ozone resistance is inherent to the polychloroprene polymer structure and supports outdoor-use evaluation without assuming suitability for every design.
Oil swelling, temperature, flame requirements, storage conditions and the finished-part service profile require technical confirmation.

This is an orientation aid, not a final compatibility approval. Confirm the specific medium, concentration, temperature and exposure cycle with the technical team.
Values are typical laboratory guidance for the stated methods. Finished-part results can vary with formulation, cure, geometry and production conditions.
The neoprene name is retained as a common market term. CR remains the shared technical material code used in standards and the datasheet.
Self-extinguishing behaviour is not a replacement for a specified fire-performance requirement. The relevant standard, compound and finished assembly must be reviewed.
Temporary low-temperature crystallisation can affect storage handling. Restore the material to ambient conditions and assess the part under its actual service requirements.
These product families can be explored from the English product hub. Suitability is determined by the final application, not by the material code alone.
